Objekto Eclipse is a sculptural table lamp designed in 1991 by Mauricio Klabin.
Objekto Eclipse Table Lamp. The motto of the designer was to make good quality beautiful and affordable design and he has indeed achieved that with this lamp which now is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (since 2006).
This intriguing lamp features a shade fabricated from a single ribbon-like strip of plastic that can be adjusted to change shape and throw light in different directions. The metal frame has small, movable stabilizing rings that allow the lamp to rest in many positions, or can be removed completely to transform it into a hanging lamp. Folds flat for storage. Simple assembly is required. Accommodates up to 60W bulb (not included). Made in Brazil of steel, polyethylene, and polypropylene.
